The Kingdom of Wefala is nestled along the border of the Great Sunlands and the Riasphere.

The Arch-Wef maintains its position as reigning sovereign of the Fee-Wef population through illusion. Over time, the Fee-Wef’s have evolved into 3 headed creatures that are prone to distraction: one body and 3 heads keeps them docile and unable to rise against the Arch-Wef. In order to rule a population, the reigning sovereign must be single-headed, but the Fee-Wef’s cannot know this or they will be worked into a frenzy and control is lost. They must see that their supreme leader is one of them. The Arch-Wef creates this illusion by wearing a two headed mask and remaining in the palace, far away from the many eyes of the Fee-Wefs.

On a quiet spring day on the outskirts of Wefala, Fapi is born. To her parents' dismay, she only has one head. They immediately abandon her and she struggles to survive without their nurturing. Yet, the land is kind and she grows into a feisty Fee-Wef, making friends with the small critters of the Riasphere. Her best friend is a small green beetle named Gip that lives in the soft fur of Fapi’s left ear.

Fapi and Gip remain separated from the general Fee-Wef population, but Fapi’s curiosity grows stronger every day. She wonders what the Arch-Wef’s palace looks like on the inside. One day, Fapi will discover the Arch-Wef’s mask, and take it upon herself to liberate Wefala from the Arch-Wef’s control. She will also discover the corrupt motives of the Arch-Wef, who has been harvesting Fee-Wef energy to sustain the palace and lavish lifestyle.

Great Sunlands, vast expanse of desert, Fee-Wef’s can’t survive more than 2 days without color, and the Great Sunlands are mostly colorless.

Riasphere: a lush biome populated with small wetland creatures, most notably the Leifa beetle. Fee-Wef’s don’t venture into the Riasphere because they fear the wrath of the Jazchi, a made up creature that the Arch-Wef uses to instill fear in the population.
